Practical Completion
Practical Completion refers to the stage in a project where all major work has been completed and the space or product is ready to be used for its intended purpose.
At this stage, only minor touch-ups, adjustments, or small outstanding items may still need to be completed, but these do not prevent the project from being functional or operational. Practical Completion is usually confirmed after an inspection and agreement between the client and contractor.
Soft-close adjustments
Door/drawer alignment tweaks
Touch-up paint or edging
Silicone sealing
Missing handles (if on back-order)
Minor scratch repairs
